I am so excited to try this out. I am 31 years old and still have brake outs and black heads. So when I saw this Blackhead and Acne Removal Tool kit I was really excited. However there are a few love/hate things to it. Let me get started with I got this kit on amazon so I got free two day shipping with prime. And when it came in it came in with this cute pink and white poka-dot bag. The bag is big enough to keep a face wash and a few other things it it. What it did not come with however was an instruction kit. I had to google most of it. While their amazon page has a few pictures it really does not tell you how to use them.
The kit comes with not only the bag but a mirror with 10x, 100 cotton squares, and the tools. After doing some looking around here is what I found about each tool. Now I am not sure if this is what they are really called but this is what I found.
Extractor Stick: this tool is meant for smaller, hard to reach blemishes.
Sharp tip and squeezing loop: using sharp tip needle for the surface skin of acne to brake skin, and then gently press the loop on the area of acne, pimple or blackhead.
The rounded tweezers: to pull out acne that is almost out/off the skin. This is the smaller rounded one better harder to reach areas.
Two loops each side: meant for stubborn acnes, blackhead and pimples.
The flat tweezers: to pull out acne that is almost out/off the skin.
Now that you know what tools you have, how do you use them?
1.Wash your face with warm water, Then with a hot towel leave it on your face to open pores.
2. Clean the tools with an alcohol wipe, this helps to ensure no bacteria infection.
3.Now,you can removing blemish with one or more of the tools. You do this by pressing the tool on your blemish. Do this gently and pull down to help push it out. This may take a few time to get it out.
4.Clean your skin again, and then apply mild moisturizing cream.
So now that you know how to use it, did it work? Yes and no. It did help get the ones that are right there ready to come out. But it did not do much when it came to my blackheads. I maybe doing it wrong and am willing to keep trying it out. But it did help a little. And each tool helped for different things too. Like the tweezers really did help pull the ones out that did not want to come out. But I got very few blackheads out.
